A drama-filled family reunion takes big screens Friday, as Three Days in August, a film shot in Mineral Wells just outside Fort Worth, makes its debut in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The film will premiere exclusively at Studio Movie Grills in the Metroplex, including the Arlington location at Arlington Highlands off Interstate 20 and Matlock Road.
Based on the real-life experiences of artist Shannon Kincaid, Three Days in August tells the story of an adopted Irish-American artist who, in an attempt to get to know her family better, brings everyone together at a ranch to paint a family portrait.
“You can imagine, what a weekend of getting to see each other for the first time in a long time, hot Texas summer, alcohol – the whole thing makes for a very interesting movie,” executive producer David Kiger said. Read entire article here.
