I have always had an appreciation for the film industry, which has led to my pursuit of producing five films to date. I owe much of my film inspiration to the American Film Institute and being a valued member of its National Council.

Recently, the American Film Institute celebrated it’s 50th Anniversary. It was 50 years ago that the American Film Institute began its mission — to preserve the heritage of the motion picture, to honor the artists and their work and to educate the next generation of storytellers. Established by Lyndon B. Johnson’s presidential mandate in the White House Rose Garden, AFI commemorated its golden milestone at the AFI Conservatory Commencement on the grounds of the historic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
